FINALLY! After weeks of waiting the second New York Mets Sport Crate is finally in-house and we’re showing it to you right here on Mets Hot Corner.

Overall the crate was cool, but when you’re waiting more than a month to receive it, it brings down the value. It came with the Travis d’Arnaud figure, NY Mets frosted shot glasses, NY Mets coaster and bottle opener, NY Mets house flag, NY Mets Barbecue Mitt, Exclusive Topps Travis d’Arnaud Baseball Card, and one FREE month of MLB TV if this is your first Sports Crate.

If you watched the unboxing of the first NY Mets Sports Crate, you’ll notice that it came with a couple more items than box #2. The items are cool nonetheless, but again, when you receive the box late, it brigs down the value.

As I mentioned in the video, I was watching a Red Sox game a couple weeks back and they had Sports Crate advertising behind home plate. All I thought to myself was if they could afford advertising in that prime spot, why is their distribution subpar? Maybe they should spend more resources on getting the product to the fans on time instead of trying to acquire new customers who will most likely suffer the same faults we have.

I also hope they still send me my July crate before the month is out. Just because they were late with June doesn’t give them a pass for the current release.

Sports Crate is available for a select number of MLB teams and lucky for us the Mets were one of them. You can subscribe monthly for $40 per month, or by the season for $180 and receive 5 crates. If you do go the season route, you will receive a Sports Crate only figure. Either subscription also comes with one free month of MLB TV, which is pretty cool if you are a huge baseball fan or an out-of-towner like myself.
